“I am beyond thankful I gained employment with BMD Constructions and am now undertaking a Certificate III in Civil Construction course. I find that I’m learning and gaining new experiences daily. I find myself pushing myself to get tasks done. I have been enjoying all the hands-on work. I am thankful for Civil Train’s Certificate II in Civil Construction Monarto project that enabled me to get where I am today.”
“The Monarto project prepared me for work and getting in a routine. The trainers were helpful and knowledgeable and I absolutely loved the hands-on work. I enjoyed the team environment, mixing with different cohorts of people from all walks of life. I am beyond grateful to Civil Train for allowing me to partake in the project and T & J Constructions for employing me. My employer has been very supportive. I have great supervisors and have been absolutely loving that they have given me opportunities on the plant machinery.”
“I had no Civil background or experience whatsoever before undertaking the project but had an interest in working in the industry. The training that Civil Train provided was excellent and I really enjoyed getting to know the other participants (with whom I am still in contact) and working alongside them. I got so much out of the live site training which definitely made me more determined to work in the industry and the trainers were helpful and taught me so much. I completed the course with valuable qualifications, tickets and friendships. I am now working with BMD and loving it! Without the Civil Train Monarto course, I would never had been exposed to Civil Construction or to the employers. The course definitely prepared me for the real thing – what I learnt on the course is so relevant to the work that I currently undertake and it has been a smooth transition.”
