No, each state has its own requirements for controlling traffic on public roads. To work as a traffic controller within Western Australia, you must be accredited by Main Roads WA in the Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) and Traffic Controller (TC) Accreditation. If you have completed and can provide a Statement of Attainment for the following units, you will only need to complete a refresher course to ensure you have a full understanding of the MRWA Code of Practice.
