This course will provide the training to become a Laser Safety Officer (LSO) for current or aspiring supervisors in the civil or construction industries.
Learn to use the correct laser for the job and comply with the recommendations of current Australian general laser safety standards (AS/NZ IEC 60825) and industry specific standards such as AS 2397 – Safe use of lasers in the building and construction industry.
This course is
ALL LEARNERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC IDENTIFICATION UPON ARRIVING FOR THEIR COURSE
Entrants will need a level of language and literacy skills to enable them to meet the requirements of the course.
Civil Train recommends year 10 school completion or equivalent as a guide to the level required for short courses.
This course is delivered and assessed face to face.
There are theory and practical training and assessment components to the course.
Public courses are scheduled frequently at Civil Train offices in South Australia, Western Australia.
