HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Course Overview

Ensure you can cope with any emergency first aid situation, whatever industry you are in.

This CPR course provides the knowledge and skills required to maintain life in an unconscious patient until medical aid arrives.

As per the First Aid in the Workplace Code of Practice, first aiders should attend training on a regular basis to refresh their first aid knowledge and skills and confirm their competence to provide first aid. The Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) recommends the CPR competency be recertified annually.

You will be enrolled, trained and assessed by St John Ambulance SA (RTO no 88041). For more information on this course, contact the Training Office in your area 1300 ST JOHN (1300 785 646) www.stjohn.org.au
