This nationally accredited Vacuum Loading certification has been developed through extensive industry consultation to provide operators with a strong understanding of Vacuum Loading Operations. Operators will verify their skills and knowledge required to autonomously operate a vacuum loading system to move products from an open space or vessel into a container. Through the certification assessment, there will be a strong emphasis placed on the individual to be able to recognise hazards and hazard controls and job management specific to the operation of vacuum loading equipment to successfully manage the various challenges faced in Vacuum Loading Operations.
On completion of the course you will be able to autonomously assemble and operate vacuum loading equipment and perform vacuum loading and unloading operations on both solids and liquids, including:
This course is half day (3.5 hrs).
Experience using a vacuum loading system (you will be required to complete self-assessment checklist)
All learners must be 16 years or older and will be required to provide photographic identification upon arriving for their course.
As part of your course enrolment at Civil Train there is a requirement that you complete a short online quiz. This will assist Civil Train to understand your current levels of language, literacy and numeracy (LLN), to ensure you are at the appropriate level to successfully complete your selected training course. This is a one-time quiz and results will be saved to your learner file and referred to for all future enrolments.
Please note: Civil Train only carries out assessments in English. If English is your second language, you may engage a professional (accredited) and independent translator at your cost, for training purposes only. However, you will be required to undertake the assessment in English without the aid of your translator.
This course is ASSESSMENT only. This course is designed for existing operators and you will not receive in depth training intended for beginner operators, you will receive equipment familiarisation training on the day. Please see the Beginner Operator training options for in depth training if you are starting out or require refresher training on using the equipment.
Assessment
If you are successful you will receive a Statement of Attainment and plastic card to keep in your wallet to show competency.
