Wanting to start a career in traffic management?

Do the course that EMPLOYERS want you to do and get that head start!

Thank you to the following traffic management companies for their contribution to the design of this course.  All suitable participants of the course will be marketed to these employers who are actively looking for new workers. Employment is not guaranteed.

Work Zone Traffic Management involves the management of traffic through, around and past roadwork sites whilst balancing the safety needs of both workers and road users such as drivers, cyclists and pedestrians. In South Australia, the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) govern the safe undertaking of Work Zone Traffic Management. This course has been designed specifically with traffic management companies to provide a pathway to employment in the sector.

Be immersed into the world of work zone traffic management!

Over five days build your skills and knowledge in the technical areas of setting up work zones and controlling traffic flow as well as implementing safety procedures, applying workplace communication techniques (using UHF radios, conflict resolution) and completing risk assessments. The combination of units in the program also address the forthcoming national changes to Work Zone Traffic Management training.
